Slowly but surely, protagonist Julie is putting her life back together after the tragedy that destroyed her family. Her passion for surfing has become a key part in her recovery, as have the friends she's made in her new town. But with the advent of the summer holidays, Julie is torn between enjoying a summer unburdened by family drama and returning to the family farm with her brother, Toby, where she will inevitably reopen her emotional wounds.
