The volume addresses current issues in the acquisition and learning of phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics in various learning situations. It presents insights into L1 acquisition (by typically developing children and by children with a cochlear implant), 2L1 acquisition, and L2/L3 learning in a formal setting.
