A nympho is described as having an abnormal and uncontrollable sexual desire and an insatiable compulsive need for sex, which is impersonal as to a partner for the purpose of having sex, has no emotional intimacy with the sex partner, and achieves no sexual satisfaction for the woman. She has an insatiable impulse to engage in sexual behavior, has lower sexual inhibitions, experiences an increased ability to obtain orgasms, and has a greater number with the same partner and of a greater duration. She is in a relentless pursuit of new sexual partners. One regular partner may not satisfy her, so she often changes the sexual partners, or she will have a variety of partners and will go from one to the other with no inhibitions.
