Joy is ours when we walk pleasingto the Lord. We please Him by believing in Him.Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing,that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."Romans 15:13. As we experience this joy we aregiven new strength. "For the joy of theLORD is your strength." Nehemiah 8:10b.With this strength we can do morework. "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent." John 6:29b.The end result is we get to hearthe Lord say; "Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithfulover a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joyof your lord." Matthew 25:23.Our response to experiencing thisjoy is to rejoice. "Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoicewith joy inexpressible and full of glory." 1 Peter 1:8b.
