The international conference on Knowledge Management in 2009 (ICKM) was held in Hong Kong. The papers chosen from the event focus on the growing recognition that knowledge management is socially constructed and how offering motivations can foster a positive sense of community, yielding a higher level of knowledge sharing, especially in virtual environments.
