Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. No change whatever has been made on the text of these Psalms, but in the larger editions of the Work it has been attempted to link them to appropriate tunes. In such editions the music appears on every page, in company With the words. This arrangement has many advantages, and it was the universal usage in earlier times. Chants have been added, as they admit of larger portions of the Psalms being sung at once than is practicable With the ordinary music; and worship pers Will thus be enabled to use more profitably and enjoy more fully the Songs of Zion.
