There is appended hereto a statement giving the names of persons employed in farmers' cooperative demonstration work whose salaries are paid in whole or in part by the General Education Board. The part of the salary not so paid, with the exception of the collaborator's salary of 551 per annum paid by the department, is paid, as has been indicated, by the State or county, or some. Other local organization. The statement gives, first, the names Of the employees; second, the amount per month paid by the General Education Board; third, the amount paid by the State; fourth, amount paid by county or local authorities; filth, the nominal sum paid by the department; and, sixth, number of months employed each year. Mr. Bradford Knapp is the administrative officer of the department who handles all the farmers' cooperative demonstration work in the South. As director of all the administrative work he has charge Of the force of collaborators who are paid in whole or in part by the General Education Board. He receives no salary from the General Education Board.
