Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. The purpose in the mind of the writer and compiler of this little book is to produce something which will help the teacher to prepare for the daily work of the schoolroom, at least the very important part of it em braced ih the long labor of training boys and girls to read and to write the English language. In his opinion, the results in these twin lines of educational work are not at all equal to those in some other lines much less important than these.
