Annotation
Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. The boundary of the original parish extended south to Devon Avenue, east to Lake Michigan, north to Columbia Avenue, west to Southport, thence south along the'east side of the street to Albion Avenue and west on Albion, the western limits not being defined. From seven families, the parish grew in a year and a half, to thirty families, the attendance at all the Masses increased and the number of those who approached the Sacraments was proportionately multiplied.
