On November loth, 1844, John Hannett commenced business as a printer, bookbinder, general stationer, and postmaster, in the High Street of the quiet Old Warwickshire town, and after twenty-five years of ceaseless industry retired on a Comfortable fortune to end his days in a picturesque old house in Henley Street.
