Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. IN the course of my researches on the subject of aviation I have frequently noticed the absence of any work dealing with the subject of wind pressure in relation to engineering, and I am inclined to think that this little book meets a want that has long been felt by engineers. The formulae are as simple in each case as circumstances and moderate accuracy will permit, and calculus methods are only introduced in three places, where it seems almost impossible to avoid them.
