Annotation
Etymologists usually assign the origin of English words as well as international words to the Koine written language (Ancient Greek) and Latin. These two languages and systems of communication have, thus far, a lifespan of around two and a half thousand years. And beyond that? What about 5.000 years or 10.000 years ago? The Macedonian language is the only documented language, so far, which goes back numerous millennia. The more recent, successful deciphering of an inscription written on a stone artefact takes the word Macedonia back 77.000 years. This inscription has been discovered in a very unlikely place, at the southern end of the African continent, in the South African, Blombos Cave, archaeological site. For the first time this book explains and analyses English words, general words and land toponyms, through the prism of the Macedonian language. The book "The Macedonian Language, Origin of language, Root of words", written in English, in over 350 pages, with more than 2.000 familiar nouns, verbs, adjectives ets, gives the Macedonian alternative elaboration to etymology and language in general. Aspects of the Macedonian civilisation as well as culture can be found incorporated in the same.
