This handbook provides easily accessible information on the aetiology, assessment and management of nutritional disorders in children with neurodisability. Succinct review of current evidence and guidelines is used to inform best practice. Early chapters outline the normal anatomy and physiology of feeding before considering the assessment and management of disordered feeding, and impact on nutritional status. Subsequent chapters discuss nutritional assessment and management supported by clear illustration of anthropometry techniques. Further consideration of the consequences of under and over nutrition, and impact on bone health is included.
