Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. For some time past my mind has been led to contemplate the life and doctrines of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So deeply was my mind impressed that I felt impelled to commit them to manuscript. My failing health and eyesight, during the time employed in writing these verses, seem to have been compensated by a stronger appreciation of the simplicity of the Savior's teachings - their adaptability to the human wants, and the sublime grandeur of His sufferings and death for the redemption of the human family.<br><br>Dear Brother Jones:<br><br>I return herewith the typewritten copy of your story in verse entitled, The Life of the Master. I have read it with much interest and feel that it cannot fail to do good to all who read it; it is the old story beautifully retold. I trust the poem will be read by many.
